If you have a child with special needs, Mount Harmony has a place for you! We have a Special Friends Sunday school class that meets every week at 9:15am, and we also offer Wednesday Night Friends, a special program for our special friends, at 6:15pm each Wednesday. This program meets during the school year and follows the Knox County schedule for holidays and inclement weather.
Our Special Friends are very busy. We have Mother's Day Out on Monday or Tuesday each week. We go swimming, shopping at the mall, visit nursing homes, and go to the Tennessee Valley Fair. Dollywood is on of our favorite places to go together! In addition, we visit many of our area churches and perform our special program as a ministry to the people there. The program includes singing, handbells, drama, testimony, and so much more! It is our desire to show our special friends just how special they are and how much they are loved by God and by us. They are such a blessing!
